This evening the NHS’s vaccination passport service was shut down, hours after Boris Johnson declared that controversial safety measure would make it compulsory for nightclubs to have access.

Wednesday night’s announcement by the Prime Minister was that Plan B would be implemented in an effort to limit the spread and spread of Omicron. 

In addition to urging individuals to wear work-from-home wear and masks, the PM stated that vaccination passports will be necessary to gain entry to large night clubs and other venues. 

However, users trying to log in to the NHS website for their passes were met with an “Please try again later” notice.

Technical problems were encountered by the app and website for NHS’s vaccination passport system. This was just hours after Boris Johnson declared that night clubs would have to be able to use the controversial safety measure.

Johnson stated that vaccine passports were being used for bigger events and nightclubs so people could prove their double-jabbed status at a Downing Street press event.

Unseated indoor spaces that seat more than 500 persons, non-seated outdoor venues that hold more than 4,000 people or any other venue with more then 10,000 guests are considered to be venues. 

To attend any matches with more than 10,000 spectators, football or other fans of the game will need a Covid Pass. 

One dose of each vaccine will be given to a child who is fully vaccinated. This will still be monitored by the booster program. 

It is also possible to perform a negative flow test on the lateral side.

Others highlighted how both the website and app are taking them to an information page detailing how to get a vaccine passport. Usually, the pass will automatically show up in the app and online if users have had their coronavirus vaccinations

Other users pointed out that both the app and website take them to an info page explaining how they can get their vaccine passport. If users have received their coronavirus vaccines, then the pass should appear in both the app and online.

They will take effect on Wednesday, December 15, 2015.

One asked: “Get this up to date as an urgent matter ?!?!?’

Another said, “What about what happens when it really matters?” If they’re denied entry to a venue, are you going to issue a refund?’. 

Other users pointed out that both the app and website take them to an info page explaining how they can get a vaccination passport. 

Users who have been vaccinated against coronavirus will usually see their pass in the app.
