When the NSW Health Instagram account featured her picture in the bizarre advertisement, the songstress was furious.

The singer, 37 years old, republished the photo onto her account and attacked the government for sharing it.
“I have an enormous problem with this. New South Wales Health: Are you serious ????????’? “New South Wales Health are you serious?”???’ she wrote.
“Needles point at my head to convey your message is disturbing !!!!!’
Delta took a stand. On Saturday Delta attacked New South Wales Health for using her image in a pro-vaccine commercial to encourage booster shots.
NSW Health issued a statement to Daily Mail Australia apologizing for the posting and confirming that they have now removed the message.
“NSW Health apologizes to Delta Goodrem regarding a social media post. NSW Health attempted to send an important message of public health but made an error in judgment and deeply regretted the offense done to Delta Goodrem.
She shares the same surname as the Delta version of coronavirus so she is frequently associated with the pandemic.
