Philippines’ “Oldest Person in the World” – believed at 124 years of age – is killed by Francisca Susano before Guinness World Records could verify her age

Local officials today confirmed that a woman, believed to be the oldest in the world, has passed away at the Philippine age of 124.
Francisca Susano was affectionately known as Lola. She died on Tuesday, at 6:45 p.m. at her Kabankalan, in the Negros Occidental province.
Guinness World Records had still been carrying out age verification as of September to declare her the world’s oldest living person.
It is not known what caused Susano’s death. Susano didn’t show symptoms of Covid-19.
Supercentenary was born September 11, 1897 when Spain ruled the country.
Susano was honored by her local government with certificates, flowers and a cake.
Politician Rodolfo Ordanes filed a petition that month urging the House of Representatives to award her a £15,000 gift in recognition of her ‘monumental achievement.’
