The Massachusetts parents of Alicia Witt, actress in The Walking Dead, were discovered dead inside their Massachusetts house after she had asked a relative to perform a well-being check. She was unable reach her family for several days.
Following not hearing from them for several days, the 46-year-old actress asked her relative to visit their Worcester home and check on Robert Witt (87) and Diane Witt (75) respectively.
“I called a cousin that lives near my parents and asked him to come check on them,” Witt said. Witt released a statement saying that the result was “unimaginable.”
“I request privacy during this difficult time of grief and for me to process this unusual turn of events and my loss.
Police officials stated that there were no indications of foul play after the bodies were discovered. The matter is currently under investigation.
According to a neighbour, the couple was sick for “some time”.
According to the Gazette and Worcester Telegrams, Witt’s parents were complaining of ‘furnace problem’ and using a space heating system to heat their house. Police confirmed that they had received reports from Witt’s family.

Witt, who was eight years old when he was discovered by Lynch’s film director Dune (1984).
According to firefighters, they checked the indoor air quality and found no harmful gases.
‘There were no signs of carbon monoxide,’ Worcester Fire Chief Deputy Adam Roche said.
Although authorities have not yet confirmed the cause of death of this victim, they did state that there was no evidence of foul play.
An autopsy is performed.
‘I can confirm that police were dispatched to the residence and discovered a male and a female deceased,’ Worcester Police Lt. Sean Murtha said.

Reports indicate that the couple was living in Worcester for many decades.
The couple’s daughter, Sara, began her career as a actress at age eight when she was discovered by David Lynch. Lynch cast her in Dune (1984) and Twin Peaks (episode).
Witt was a star in a variety of popular television shows, such as the Sopranos and Two and a Half Men and The Walking Dead.
Witt is also an accomplished pianist. She made her Los Angeles debut on the stage in 2001.
