A pensioner who was putting Christmas fairy lights outside his home was left miraculously unhurt when he fell from his ladder.

John Lawless of Keighley (West Yorkshire), was not seriously injured after his ladder fell off and he fell through the gutters on the first floor onto the driveway below.  

A home security camera captured the heartbreaking fall of the elderly man from his ladder. He had fallen on the driveway, and was thrown to the concrete floor.

He avoided serious injury after his ladder slipped and he fell from the first-floor gutters onto the drive below

After his ladder fell, he was able to avoid serious injuries and plummeted from the first floor gutters onto the driveway below

This video shows Lawless falling from a Christmas tree, and then crashing onto the driveway.

Lawless was a Covid vaccine rollout worker at the local GP. He said that he had been feeling anxious all day and didn’t know if he was being overconfident.

“The wife was standing at the bottom of the ladder for all morning, and I hadn’t realized she wasn’t there.”

Catherine Lawless, the wife of Mr Lawless can be seen trying her best to assist him.

According to him, he suffered minor injuries after falling in the Christmas tree. He was fortunate that no more harm was done.

Lawless said that the Christmas tree was too low and cut into my forehead. That’s okay.

Asking him if TikTok is his favorite, he laughed and said: “I suppose you could say that.”
