The Watches of Switzerland are gearing up to a record Christmas, with women focusing on Cartiers and men pursuing Omegas.
Brian Duffy, chief executive of Cartier Watches (like the one worn in the Duchess’s wedding) said that sales had been strong before the holiday season.
He said that the Omega Seamaster James Bond, which he wore in No Time To Die, was still on the shelves.

Duffy claimed that Bond’s Watch was the best-selling of all time.
This retailer has 163 shops and reported strong results in the six-months to October 31.
Sales jumped 44.6 per cent to £586.2million, up from £414.3million a year earlier.
Profit across the group rose from £36.2million a year ago to £ 64.7million, a 79p per cent increase.
Duffy said that he was happy and that the company was on a strong footing ahead of Christmas.
