Taye (pictured), 40-year-old rapper, had a ‘roid fury’ after he attacked Khloemae Loy, 23 in the neck, in a hotel near the O2 Greenwich. The Old Bailey was there to hear his story.
The victim was an abusive, controlling and violent personal trainer. He was sentenced to life in prison today.
Taye Frans, 40, was in a “roid rage” when he attacked Khloemae Liy (23), in a hotel near Greenwich’s O2 arena. It happened July 2020.
Francis, 40, a violent bully convicted of raping a 19-year-old at axe point in 2002, had repeatedly beaten up Miss Loy since meeting her when she was 17.
He was found guilty of ABH for throwing his victim in a wheelie-bin. His victim had even secured a restraining order against him but was tragically drawn back into Francis’ ‘spiral of abuse’.
Khloemae had been begged by her parents to abandon him. They knew Francis would ultimately kill their daughter if they stayed with Francis. Dany, the father of her daughter, did not ask her why they came to their house on the night she was assassinated. Instead, he simply replied, ‘He has killed her.
According to Judge Mark Lucraft, the Recorder of London who was also known as Mark Lucraft, Francis’s history of violence against women is a “very dark picture”.
He had been using steroids almost ten year before Khlomemae was killed. A court found that steroid addiction can cause ‘impulsivity and irratability’, diminished sleep quality, and paranoid belief. Many body builders ended up in long term psychiatric facilities.
According to Mr Justice Lucraft, “You’d been with Khloemae over many years.”
“She was only 18 years old when she first met you, and her parents made it clear that they were worried about her influence and the consequences for her. She was subject to violence by you previously, but the relationship continued.
The victim impact statement was written by ‘Khloemae’s parents. Her parents stated that she is greatly missed by her friends and family. She will be missed by all of us. Her bubbly personality was infectious and made everyone smile. She was our miniature china doll.
“At twenty-three Khloemae was already suffering five years at Taye Francis’ hands. All she wanted to do was get love and devotion from him.
Khloemae may not be with us anymore, but she’s still there. Taye took Khloemae’s life, but he also destroyed ours. We don’t have her anymore. It is impossible to feel her joy and love.

A violent rapist snapped Khlomemae on his blood-soaked bed, and then sent one to his lawyer saying that he had murdered Khlomemae.
“At the age of twenty-three, she didn’t get to really experience life. It was difficult for her to find a home she loved, so she moved around constantly with him.
She didn’t have the opportunity to be engaged, marry or have children; these are experiences many people take as a given. These experiences are not shared with us, her friends and family.
We should have been helping her plan her big day and looking forward becoming grandparents, but instead we’ve had to organize her funeral.”
The judge sentenced Francis to life imprisonment with a term of minimum 23 years. He added that he was not directing Francis to be released from prison at the end.
The Parole Board will decide if you will be released at this stage, or at another stage.
The Parole Board can only decide if it’s safe to release you after the mandatory term is completed.
“As stated above, there are many troubling aspects to you and your behavior and it might be that you will never be free.
Francis claimed that he didn’t commit the murder at the time because he had mental health issues.
According to him, he told psychiatrists that he had stabbed Khlomemae because a deluded belief that she was trying to help people who wanted his death.
Francis will now be sentenced to life after the jury found him guilty of injecting steroids.
Francis snapped photos of his girlfriend’s body lying on their blood-soaked beds and sent them to his lawyer. He said: “I’ve killed my girlfriend.”
To escape, he then broke the glass of the hotel building and fell to the fifth floor.
He was previously known by the name Ashley Wyatt before he was sentenced to rape a 19 year-old girl at axe point in 2002.
Once she was attacked in a train bathroom, then she was frogmarched back to her father’s house in Thornton Heath in southeast London where she was again raped.
Francis did not show emotion when the Old Bailey jury convicted him of murder with a verdict of 10 to 2, earlier this month.
Maxine, the victim’s mother wept as her son was pronounced guilty.
Francis believed that vigilantes were hunting him down to exact revenge for his conviction of rape.
Khlomemae, a Croydon College graduate, met Francis at 18 when he was 34. She was then working in a pub.
Smithfield was his first training ground as a butcher. After that, he moved to personal trainer and was hired by Canary Wharf wealthy clients.
Dany Loy and Maxine Loy were shocked to learn that Francis claimed he was 26, and was also a college student. They were in for a five-year nightmare.
Kate Lumsdon, Prosecutor: “Khloemae had a rather private relationship with the other.
‘When Mr. and Mrs Loy met him, they were not impressed. The Loys noticed that Khloemae began to behave differently.
“She started drinking more. She stated that she was ready to leave her home in order to buy her own house. There were several incidents that raised concerns.

They went to Holiday Inn Express on the Greenwich Peninsula, near O2 Arena (pictured), and Khloemae was murdered.
In February 2017, Francis assaulted Khloemae then put her in a wheeliebin.
Francis was sentenced for assault, was jailed, and received a restraining or order that prevented him from reaching his victim.
The couple split after her parents thought their troubles were over.
Khloemae called her mom in December 2019 to tell her they had reunited.
Ms Lumsdon explained that Khloemae had been talking with her mom about the current situation going into 2020. The mother remembered how she felt distressed by this particular situation.
Francis and Ms. Loy moved in with him to Sutton, after becoming convinced of the ‘after’ people.
Khloemae called Mrs Loy on the 1st Juli 2020 to inform her that she’d been admitted after she was seen sitting on top of a window ledge.
“She was quiet when she spoke, and her parents took her to Queen Elizabeth Hospital. She had been there overnight.
“Her parents encouraged Khloemae, as they did before, to leave Mr Francis.
Khloemae told her she couldn’t leave him, or he’d attack Mrs and Mr Loy. She was taken back to Sutton by Ms Lumsdon.
They found Francis, who was dressed in a police-style “stab vest” and using a bed as a barricade to block the entrance of the flat.
Next day Ms Loy and her parents took the couple to Slough for temporary accommodation. Francis thought his parents were watching him as he drove around Slough.
Francis called the police just two days before his murder to report that people had threatened him outside his home.
Officers who were present found nothing to be alarming, the couple immediately began packing and declared that they would return home to London.
After Francis’ behavior was discovered by hospital staff, St Mary’s Hospital Paddington officers were summoned to the scene.
His and Ms Loy wanted an immediate assessment of their mental health to secure new accommodation. However, they were informed there was a long waiting list and that each would have to be evaluated separately.
After being convinced Francis had’signs paranoia’, the officers spoke with them and let him go.
Khloemae called her mom on July 4th and told her to cancel their plans for shopping. She said she would instead go to the coast with Francis to visit his parents.
She asked her father for £300 for tickets and accommodation. “Mr Loy” transferred the money. It was his last conversation with her,” said Ms Lumsdon.
Francis and Francis went to Pimlico after the accident at the hospital. Francis called an ambulance saying that Francis needed a mental assessment because he was already cutting his own throat.
There, the couple went on to the Holiday Inn Express at the Greenwich Peninsula O2 Arena. It was there that Khloemae was going to be executed.
Francis administered steroids one day before his partner died.
Francis later that night sent several texts to his recipients. Some of them believed to be solicitors.
He searched the internet for his name, and “Taye Francis Rapist” during the night.
Khloemae was angry at the thought of being murdered and called hotel reception. She said that somebody knocked on her front door. An employee then told Khloemae she hadn’t asked them to.
Francis began to paranoidly rant about the possibility that someone had knocked at his door and was looking for him to be killed.
Francis admitted manslaughter based on diminished responsibility but denied the murder.
