Ryan Thomas is seen ‘cuddling’ and ‘nuzzling” Zaraah Ibrahims, EastEnders star.

The former Coronation Street actor, 38, could be seen embracing the married 35-year-old actress, with whom he is close friends, in images taken at Thursday’s National Television Awards after-party.

Ryan, who has two children with his fiancée Lucy Mecklenburgh, starred alongside Zaraah in the ITV soap when she was a member of the cast between 2005 and 2007.

One witness claimed that the couple – Joanne Jackson and Jason Grimshaw on Corrie – got along ‘like a fire in a home’ while they were at the glamorous event.

They told The Sun: ‘Ryan was inviting Zaraah to come to his house with her family. He was scrolling through his phone, looking at something that was funny.

“Then, he pulled her into his arms for a cuddle. He was clearly absorbed in the moment, even though the drinks were flowing throughout the night.

They laughed again together. Ryan could be heard saying to her: “You know me so well.” Then he continued by telling her “You know who I am.” This was very funny.

Zaraah’s spokesperson stated to The Sun, “Zaraah & Ryan have been close friends for more 20 years. We are just catching up since they hadn’t been in touch for a long time.” It is nothing more.

Ryan and his fiancé Lucy broke their social media silence on Sunday after the story broke.

To share a photo of him and a friend at F45 in Stratford, he took to Instagram. 

Lucy, however, was unable to attend the Awards Bash. She shared this clip of Ryan, Lucy and their children taking a stroll, before having a meal with their family.

Lucy, who shares children Lilah and Roman with Ryan, also posted sweet snaps of her baby giggling and then of herself breastfeeding in the middle of the night.

They are proud parents of Roman, two-year-old, and Lilah, who is four months.

Ryan, a former Coronation Street star Tina O’Brien (39), is now the father of Scarlett, 13. 

Roman suffered an injury during a Carlisle family holiday earlier this month. 

The actor shared a photo of the toddler in an A&E cot, telling his Instagram followers that they had ‘unfortunately been in this situation many times before’.

Lucy was admitted last month to the hospital alongside their oldest child, as he battled an illness.

Ryan sent Ryan a photo in black and white of Roman lying in bed in his hospital room cot. He wrote: “Me and my little boy have been in this position many times before.”

“But this weekend, we were away at home for 24 hours. I wanted to thank all of the nurses and doctors at The Cumberland Infirmary who worked tirelessly to ensure we received the highest quality care. 

“Me and my son are safe thanks to you. Thank you so much.
