Pinewood movie studios burst into flames. Emergency services race to stop the fire.

Pinewood Studios has been hit by a fire, and emergency personnel were called to help. 

At Slough in Berkshire the blaze sent enormous plumes of smoke in the sky above the studios. It began at 9pm Thursday night in a workshop.

Photos of the dramatic scene showed firefighters and ambulances.

In July 2006, production of Daniel Craig’s Bond film Casino Royale had to be stopped due to an earlier fire. 

Also, in June 1984 when Ridley Scott’s movie Legend was being shot on the stage, it caught fire.  

Three explosions happened on No Time To Die’s set in 2019, killing one crewmember after an accident.

Sources said that the scene was chaotic. The fireball was meant to pass through the set. This was the plan, but it went horribly wrong. 

The crew member was injured when he fell to the floor. It is currently under total lockdown.
