Perverse plumber was jailed for one-year after installing a spy camera in customers toilets “to meet his sexual needs”. Later, it was discovered that the camera had indecent images of children.

The woman saw the camera and reported him police. Officers discovered that he had also recorded several customers by hiding recording devices inside their bathrooms.
Further criminality was discovered when police searched his Sherwood, Nottingham address and found 302 indecent images featuring children on his computer. Also, images of animals having sex in public with humans adults.
Hulme pleaded guilty at Nottingham Crown Court to voyeurism and making indecent images for a child. He was also charged with possessing extreme pornographic imagery.
When he was working at the Nottingham property, his offending was discovered in 2018.
Hulme was hired to do plumbing work. Hulme was confronted by the householder who discovered a spy camera attached in the sink of the downstairs toilet that he had installed.
Hulme confessed to being responsible and fled with the recording device, when the woman called police.
Hulme pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 12 months imprisonment at Nottingham Crown Court.
Officers immediately began to search for Hulme and were able to arrest him after finding him a short while later.
During his interview with police, he admitted to digitally recording the customer along with ‘five or six other’ customers to meet his sexual needs. However, he denied accessing child abuse material.
PC Jonathan Cooper, who investigated Hulme’s criminality, stated: “This was a gross breach and invasion of trust in a premeditated fashion for his own sexual pleasure.
This shame will haunt ‘Hulme for the rest his life. These offences were gross, and his victims will undoubtedly live with it for the rest of life.
“I hope this outcome serves both as a consolation to Hulme’s victims and their families as well as as a warning for others who might be tempted into voyeurism.
“His convictions for making indecent pictures of a child and possessing extreme ponographic images should be a stark warning to all others that such criminality has consequences.
“Behind every one these disturbing videos and images is an innocent child being sexually abused in different parts of the globe. As children age, the emotional and physical effects of this abuse can have devastating consequences on them. We are determined to protect other children.
