A groom was arrested for allegedly killing his bride four days after the wedding. Her body was found in a suitcase close to her home.
Dawn Walker, 52 years old, and her toddler son tied the knot in Halifax on Sunday.
West Yorkshire Police arrested Thomas Nutt, her husband and father-of-3 children, on suspicion that he has committed murder.
The couple were married in Halifax at a registry office. They were accompanied by their family and friends.
Forensic detectives have been searching the Brighouse home of the couple and are continuing to question Nutt. His wife is believed strangled.

One wedding guest said to The Sun, “I can’t believe it’s happened.” It was a beautiful wedding, and Dawn looked stunning.
“They should have been looking forward for a long, happy marriage. I can’t believe that this has happened so soon after marriage.
Miss Walker is reported to be engaged to Nutt in January 2020. She is also said to have two children from a previous relationship.
Her daughter, Codie-Marie Shaw, 30, said: ‘Never leave things until it’s too late – I’ve learned the hard way.’ Lisa Walker, her sister, was also devastated.
The West Yorkshire Police have no other suspects in the murder of Miss Walker.

Another wedding guest stated that the ceremony took place at 2.30pm. The reception was held at a local pub. We stayed for the entire night. It was fantastic.

“She was found in a suitcase at some trees’ back. Now, a little boy is left without his mother. He’s probably one-and-a half years old.
“She was the most sound person you could ever meet. She was kind and generous. She once paid for the shopping of a disabled man, even though he was very short.

Friends described Miss Walker as “generous” and “the most sound person they could meet.”
A neighbour said: ‘I am gobsmacked – there is no other word for it. It is terrible. It is a terrible place. I have lived there for 40 years.
Investigators in murder are eager to speak with the victim who called them to report their death. Officers were not able to identify the individual.
Police were first called at 4.38pm Sunday. They are now curious to learn more about suspicious activity during the hours leading to that time.
Detective Inspector Amanda Wimbles from the force’s homicide investigation and major inquiry team stated: “Our inquiries into this incident are still in an early stage and are particularly keen to talk with the person that initially called us.”
Officers were dispatched to Lightcliffe, near Halifax on Sunday to investigate reports of a dead body.

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police stated that they are seeking information on the body of a woman discovered in Halifax, Lightcliffe.
“Officers appeal to anyone who saw suspicious activity in the vicinity of Aysgarth Avenue and the surrounding streets between 1pm (on Sunday afternoon) and 4.38pm (on Sunday afternoon).
“The 45-year old male suspect of murder remains in custody at the moment.”
