Streatham Common: Female Jogger raped at Streatham Common. Police are looking for a man of athletic build, who attacked a woman during her morning run in South London at 5am.

  • At 05:10 AM on December 23, the victim was on an early morning run.
  • Police appeal for any information regarding the Streatham Common attack 
  • The suspect is described as a tall, athletic male with an English accent.

Police have appealed for help after a woman jogger was attacked while running on Streatham Common, south London. 

At around 05:10, the victim was crossing Streatham Common North Road to get into Streatham Common when an unknown male attacked her. 

Following the attack, the suspect is thought to have fled in direction of Streatham High Road’s Sainsbury’s. 

She was walking along Streatham Common, when the attacker attacked her. 

According to the suspect, he is a tall man of muscular build and English accent.

He was dressed in dark clothing, with a mask, and wearing scruffy, white sneakers and gloves. 

Metropolitan Police received an incident report on December 28,
