Officers start hunt for missing nurse assistant 32 year old who went missing from south London two weeks ago

Police have launched a hunt to find a missing nursing assistant who vanished from south London nearly two weeks ago.

Petra Srncova, 32, who lives in Camberwell, was reported missing on Friday, December 3 by a concerned colleague.

She works at Evelina London Children’s Hospital, which is next to St Thomas’ Hospital.

Petra was believed to have left hospital around 7.45pm Sunday, November 28, wearing a green coat and carrying a red backpack at the time.

According to the story, she took cash from a bank and then boarded a bus for Elephant and Castle. 

The theory is that she may have moved to Camberwell to board a bus to get to her house.

Her family has not been heard from by police after they contacted them in the Czech Republic.

Officers are growing increasingly concerned for Petra’s welfare and are asking anyone who has seen her, or has information as to her whereabouts, to make contact immediately.

Clair Kelland from Central South Command Unit, which is responsible for the Petra area, stated: “We are growing increasingly concerned about Petra, and we will do everything possible to find her.

“Her disappearance is unusual and her loved ones are deeply concerned. They want to find where she is.

‘Please think about if you’ve seen her, or maybe come into contact with her. Please contact us if you have more information.

One man, who was involved in her disappearance has been taken into police custody. At this time, we are not disclosing any further information about the arrest.
