Although it is not known when exactly the family traveled to Jordan, the trip was likely to have occurred in the latter part of the year as travel restrictions had been relaxed.
During summer Jordan was listed on the Amber List. After 19 July, fully vaccinated UK arrivals to the UK didn’t have to take quarantine. As long as they did a pre-departure check and a PCR on days two through eight, after returning home, Jordan wasn’t required. On the 4th of October, both day 8 and pre-departure tests were canceled.

The visit was not made public because it was private holiday and not an official royal tour.
