Police launch manhunt for attacker after schoolboy, 13, was stabbed on avenue in east London

Police have launched a manhunt after a 13-year-old boy was stabbed on a residential avenue in east London.

Officers and ambulance crews had been referred to as to Constitution Avenue in Ilford at round 6.30pm yesterday following reviews a teenage boy had been injured.  

The schoolboy was rushed to hospital with stab accidents and his situation isn’t believed to be life-threatening.

No arrests have been made and inquiries are ongoing into the incident.   

In an announcement the Metropolitan Police mentioned: ‘Police had been referred to as at 6.26pm on Wednesday, October 20 to reviews of a teenage boy discovered injured in Constitution Avenue, Ilford.

‘Officers attended together with London Ambulance Service. 

‘A 13-year-old boy was taken to hospital with stab accidents. His situation isn’t believed to be life-threatening.

‘Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing. At this early stage of the investigation, no arrests have been made.’
