Police call for an urgent search to find a missing child, aged 15, last seen in Southampton’s marina.

After fears rose for the safety and well-being of a missing 15-year old boy, Hampshire police launched an emergency search operation.

Before disappearing, the teenager who was seen getting into the River Itchen was also seen.  

Hampshire Constabulary’s spokesperson confirmed Marcel’s origin but declined to reveal his surname.

Hampshire Police have begun an immediate search operation in the wake of fears for Marcel (15 years old), who was missing Sunday.

The 15-year old was last seen last night at the Cobden Bridge in Southampton. It crosses the River Itchen.

He was last seen entering the water.

“He is white, thin, about 5ft 9ins high, and has short, dark brown hair.

Marcel was last seen with a dark jacket, black Nike Air Jordan sneakers with red markings, grey tracksuit bottoms, and a black backpack.

Howard Broadribb is Detective Inspector. He stated: “Officers are on site today performing searches and making additional inquiries, but we are concerned about Marcel’s welfare and ask the public for information regarding any sightings.

According to the Marina’s last sighting, it is possible that he may have made his way into local gardens, outbuildings, or boats.
