Police searching for a missing woman have found a body in a lake at a water park near to where she was reported missing three days ago.
Christine Foster, 60, was reported missing from Wigan and was last seen at around 4.30pm on Tuesday on Greenslate Road in the Orrell area of the town.
You can walk just minutes from Orrell Water Park in Wigan.
Kate Murphy, 24 from Leigh-in-Wigan, met Ms Foster during a course on dog grooming in her home town.

Orrell water park was surrounded by police today. Greater Manchester Police spokesmen said that they found a body in Orrell Water Park today.
Police from Greater Manchester were also involved in the search for the lake by deploying underwater teams.
According to her, the Antrich Vets dog groomer of 60 years had been working at Antrich Vets for’many years.
MailOnline was told by her: “She was wonderful.
“She was a lover of animals and dog grooming. She was kind.
Ms Murphy stated that although police confirmed the identity, it had yet not been completed.
Police and divers have searched the lake for Ms Foster over the past three days.
Ms Foster last saw her on Greenslate Road. She is only a few minutes from Orrell Water Park.
Police spokesperson said that officers looking for Christine Foster, a missing person, had found a body in Orrell Water Park near Wigan around 10.50 am today.
“There is no suspicion of suspicious circumstances, and the file will be sent to the coroner.”
As part of today’s search, Greater Manchester Police surrounded the Water Park.
The police had stated previously that they became ‘increasingly worried’ about the welfare of the 60-year old.
She was described as white and slim, 5ft tall, with long blonde hair and blue eyes.
