While the summer wedding season has yet to arrive, this stunning Spanish society bride did not hesitate to tie the knot at an intimate event over the weekend.
Alejandra Anson Quintana, founder of restaurant consultancy firm Anson & Bonet, was joined by family and friends as she wed communications guru Ignacio Sampedro, at a small church in Madrid.
The bride is the daughter of Rafael Anson, 86, an influential former politician and honorary president of the International Academy of Gastronomy, and Inmaculada Quintana Cabrera. While the bride is an entrepreneur and co-founder of a successful communication agency, the groom works as a businessman.
He looked like a proud father when he took his daughter to the church for the French Legion of Honour.

Stealing the show: Spanish fashion designer Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada, 13th Marchioness of Castelldosrius, and her daughter Cosima Ramirez turned heads in vibrant eye-catching ensembles, complete with opaque coloured tights

Celebration! It was followed by a reception in a nearby restaurant. Photographed is the bride, with Cuchita, her guest. She wore a faux-fur stole and completed the look with a black veil and hat.
Alejandra looked resplendent in a gown by upmarket Spanish bridal label Navascués, which specialises in chic, pared back designs.
Alejandra’s long-sleeved gown featured a V-cut, puff shoulders and buttons on the sleeves and back.
She wore a cream wool cape, which draped gracefully down her back. It also formed an impressive train. This unusual piece was attached at the neck by a sparkling brooch.
The look was complete with simple, grey-blue pointed heels and simple diamond earrings.

Intimate Service: Alejandra entered on Rafael’s arm as the congregation watched.
Alejandra kept her make-up minimal and her hair down at her base to emphasize the simplicity of her outfit. The timeless mix of green and white flowers was the bouquet she chose.
The guests chose a more extreme approach. Spanish fashion designer Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada, 13th Marchioness of Castelldosrius, and her daughter Cosima Ramirez stole the show in vibrant eye-catching ensembles.
Ágatha opted for a red and orange panel coat, worn with red tights, yellow shoes and a green frock. Her daughter, however, was all about pink. She teamed her pink bubblegum coat and opaque pink tights with tall heels and towering heels.

The look was completed by a pair pink sunglasses and contrasting headband.
A live band entertained guests at the reception held it in a local restaurant. In social media video, couples dance on the floor between long wooden tables.
To echo the bride’s minimalist look, decorations were kept minimal with only small flowers scattered throughout the venue.
To keep the guests warm while they mixed, outside heaters were installed.

Newlyweds! Alejandra Anson & Ignancio Salpedro smiled as they left church after the service arm-in-arm.
