Maria Farmer, a former employee, claims that the footage would include Prince Andrew’s 2000 stay at the 33.339 square foot estate.

Farmer claims that the rooms were larger than houses and were filled with video equipment and computers belonging to Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, his ex-girlfriend and alleged accomplice. These were used in Farmer’s spying network.

The appearance also comes as The Queen, 95, was admitted to King Edward VII’s on Wednesday afternoon and stayed there overnight for tests following the cancellation of her trip to Northern Ireland.

The royal family has remained calm and carried their lives on following the hospital admission. Prince William was seen taking his family to Heathrow Airport this week, while Kate Middleton and Prince Harry were also spotted with Andrew’s daughter Princess Eugenie for a night out in London along with Jack Brooksbank (and a group of well-heeled buddies).

Nicholas Witchell, BBC royal correspondent, questioned whether the palace had compromised public trust by not disclosing that she was admitted to hospital.

Journalists were told by the palace’s communications team that the Queen was still at Windsor Castle.

However on Thursday night – more than 24 hours later – it confirmed she had been taken to the private hospital in London.

Unusually, Wednesday saw the Queen leave Windsor, but the royal standard was still flying at Windsor.

The sovereign is represented by the flag and it is only flown when she is present.

A royal source denied that it was kept aloft in order to cover up the fact that the standard didn’t move to every building she visited.

According to a source, Windsor had remained the Queen’s residence despite her overnight visit. Mr Witchell insisted journalists – and the public – ‘weren’t given the complete picture’.

Peter Hunt, a former BBC journalist who is a royal commentator, said there was a ‘failed effort’ to cover up the hospital admittance.

He said that the failed attempt by the Queen to conceal her night in hospital had strained the media’s faith and confidence in royal communications. Given the amount of work they have to deal with, Buckingham Palace is unable to afford a breakdown of trust.

Because the Royal Family has the right to privacy and confidentiality, Palace officials are reluctant to share information about health matters.

However, updates are often provided if a senior royal is admitted into hospital. The health of the monarch is also of constitutional importance. The Queen is the head of state and her health has been under intense scrutiny. This scrutiny increases as she ages.

The revelation that she had needed to be seen by specialists in hospital – her first overnight stay for eight years – has fuelled public concern about her health.

Well, we should hope that we are able to trust what the palace is telling. Ingrid Seward, a royal expert and biographer, said that they did mislead media. They were trying protect the Queen because she wouldn’t have liked a fuss, but it was misleading.

Majesty magazine’s managing editor Joe Little said that the Queen has a right to privacy, but she is also head of state.

“So does that make it possible to determine what conditions she may have?” It’s very difficult to achieve the right balance for everyone.

On Thursday, the Queen was discharged from hospital and is expected to stay in Windsor, where she was advised to rest. Buckingham Palace has not revealed the nature of the tests performed at King Edward VII’s, and it is unknown if she will require any further examination or treatment.
