Prince Charles and The Duchess Of Cornwall have created a Christmas card that captures the sweet moment they share with each other. It also pays tribute to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Picture taken during Royal Ascot’s second day in June shows 72-year old heir to the throne helping his 73-year-old wife adjust her facial mask before the race meeting.
Given the new restrictions in England requiring that people wear masks when they travel, shop, and in indoor spaces like post offices, theatres, and hairdressers, this snap seems particularly fitting.
It also shows Charles as Camilla’s loving husband, who he married April 2005. This was after an affair lasting decades.
Charles’s eldest son and the Duke of Cambridge also released their holiday greetings. A family portrait in which William, 39, and Kate Middleton, 39, pose with their three children Prince George (eight), Princess Charlotte (6, and Prince Louis (33)

Although it is not known when exactly the family traveled to Jordan, the trip was likely to have occurred in the latter part of the year as travel restrictions had been relaxed.
During the summer Jordan was included on the amber-list. This meant that fully vaccinated visitors to the UK after 19 July did not need to be quarantined, provided they had taken a predeparture and PCR tests on days two and eight. The day-two and eight pre-departure tests were not performed on the 4th of October.
The visit was not made public because it was private holiday and not an official royal tour.
Jordan holds a special significance for the family because the Duchess of Cambridge spent part of her childhood in the country where her father worked as a flight dispatcher for British Airways, and when William visited the Middle East in 2018 on an official tour, he spoke of their intention to come back with their children in the future.
This year’s Christmas card is quite different than the usual ones by the Cambridges. It features family shots taken at Amner Hall, Norfolk. The images have an English countryside vibe with matching jumpers.
The photo’s centre shows the Duke and Duchess, who are smiling broadly while seated at the center.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge shared the photo on Instagram with the caption: ‘Delighted to share a new image of the family, which features on this year’s Christmas card.’
This photo was released almost one week before the official unveiling of last year’s, which had been leaked to social media. Many people were thrilled with the photo, and many commented on the grown-up appearance of the children.
