Prince Philippos, the godson Princess Diana and the Duke Of Edinburgh, has married Nina Flohr in Athens today in a lavish ceremony.
The prince, 35, who is the youngest child of the last king and queen of Greece, Constantine II and Anne-Marie of Denmark, exchanged vows with Nina, daughter of Swiss businessman Thomas Flohr, for the third time.
The couple first wed last December in a small civil ceremony in St Moritz, Switzerland, followed by a high society springtime celebration in Cambridgeshire.
Although both were intimate affairs, and there were only the two fathers present at the first, the third wedding at Metropolitan Cathedral of Athens was a full-blown celebration.

The couple’s second low-key marriage was hosted by Alice Naylor- Leyland, Vogue writer, and Tom at their home in Stibbington House in Cambridge.
King Constantine, Prince William’s godfather, and Queen Anne-Marie (Queen Anne-Marie of Denmark) were among the guests. They still use their royal titles despite the 1973 abolishment of the Greek monarchy.
He has four siblings including Crown Prince Pavlos (54), of Greece. He also shares five children, with Marie-Chantal (52), a jet-set socialite.
Their beautiful daughter Princess Olympia, 25, as well as her handsome British beau Peregrine, the wealthy heir of Cowdray Park, were present.
Other Brits who traveled included Alice Naylor Leyland, Vogue writer, and Tom, her husband. They hosted wedding No. 2 at their Cambridge home, Stibbington House.

Alice was named Tatler’s society Swans’ of 2018. Tom is the son and daughter of Baronet Sir Philip Naylor Leyland. This land-owning dynasty controls the 17th century Talbot hotel in Malton.
Violet Henderson, magazine editor and Princess Eugenie’s friend Caroline Rupert are also part of their well-off group.
Jack Brooksbank, Eugenie, and Nina Brooksbank were rumoured guests at their royal wedding in October 2018. Nina is also friends Edoardo Maglio Mozzi, Princess Beatrice’s husband.
Lady Penelope Knatchbull, the Duke of Edinburgh’s long-time carriage driver companion, is the groom’s Godmother and was expected among the guests.
Philippos’ godparents were King Felipe (left, with Queen Letizia, his wife) and Queen Margrethe of Denmark (right, who are also his maternal aunt).

Philippos’s family is well connected and could have representatives from almost every European monarchy attending the ceremony.
According to Hola! Hola!, his aunt Queen Sofia of Spain, paternal aunt of the current King Felipe, was to attend the ceremony as well as Princess Elena from Spain, the groom’s cousin and godmother.
Another godmother and the groom’s maternal aunt, Princess Benedikte of Denmark, was invited, as has godfather Kyril, Prince of Preslav. Margrethe II of Denmark is also a maternal aunt and could attend alongside her son, Crown Prince Frederick, as well as her daughter-in-law, Crown Princess Mary.

Born in 1986 at St Mary’s Hospital in London, Philippos was raised in a 13-bedroom stately house on the edge of Hampstead Heath where Princess Diana was a frequent visitor with Prince William and Prince Harry.
Although he is known for being private and prefers to avoid the spotlight, he has made appearances at many high-profile events like the wedding of Crown Princess Victoria in Sweden in 2010 or her sister Princess Madeleine 2013.

King Constantine, and his son the Crown Prince Pavlos, have no official remit. However they are active participants in royal life throughout Europe.
The family is closely associated with the British royals because King Constantine, Prince Charles’ godfather, and Prince William’s second cousin are both from the same family.
