Maryland police claim that an ex-boxer was driving his girlfriend, three small children and to Christmas Eve dinner with his family.
Danny Kelly Junior, 30, was driving a pickup truck northbound along St. Barnabas Road in Temple Hills about 4:40 pm when another vehicle pulled up alongside him and someone inside it opened fire.
Police in Prince George County said that they are investigating the possibility of road rage and will be looking for the suspect.
No passengers were injured, but Kelly was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
This is a very heartbreaking loss to Mr. Kelly’s loved ones, Major David Blazer declared December 25.
“He’s not at home right now with his family, and they are grieving instead of celebrating Christmas.”

Angelina Harvey, a Facebook user, stated that Kelly was taking his family on a holiday tradition and was hit by a car.
She wrote, “For the past three Christmases I have spent it with this man and his children.” It was a simple affair: ‘Danny fix me my dinner’, ‘Get out of your damn chair!’ nothing. This was a sleepless night. Things will never the same again.
Temple Hills is an area that was not yet incorporated, about one hour from Baltimore. The shooting took place.
St. Barnabas Road has been described as a “heavily traveled roadway” by police, who appealed to witnesses for help.
