On Times Radio, she said: “This is anti-Israeli, but also antisemitic.”
She stated that antisemitism must be dealt with as a serious problem.

As the host spoke, the diplomat sat next to him in a lecture hall. The children were seated on the opposite sides and watched.
“It’s so simple. IDF never targets civilians period. IDF targets civilian areas where rockets have been launched.
“Because international law allows you to target infrastructures of terror organisations.
IDF has never attacked civilians. Terrorists are targeting civilians. Hamas …’
The video cuts out before Ms Hotovely finished her sentence.

Ms Hotovely was a controversial choice as Israel’s Ambassador to the UK, having been appointed by former PM Benjamin Netanyahu and a member of his Likud party.
She took up the role in London last year – provoking uproar among left-wing British Jews after serving as settlements minister back home.
Foreign Minister Yair Lapid tried to oust her from the position when Mr Netanyahu fell earlier this year, but she refused due to her three-year contract.
A petition was set up last year to ban her from becoming ambassador, which read: ‘Hotovely has an appalling record of racist and inflammatory behavior from throughout her political career.
We are British Jews and we have made it clear that Tzipi’s politics and values do not belong in the UK. It is vital that the UK government rejects Hotovely’s nomination to be ambassador.
Ms Hotovely was also deputy foreign minister from 2015 to 2020, a move panned by some for her views on Israel’s settlement movement and rejection of the two-state solution.
Anti-Jewish sentiment erupted in Britain last year. There were large demonstrations calling for the destruction of Israel and advocating Palestinian viewpoints.
Some of these protests have gone horrendous, with some setting fire to the flag of Israel. On one occasion, a large group drove through a Jewish neighborhood screaming for girls to be raped.
These protests were triggered by renewed violence between Israel & Gaza in the earlier part of this year that saw rockets being fired into both countries.
As military leaders on both sides died, there were concerns of all-out conflict in the Middle East. Both sides also made threats to escalate.
But tensions died down and a ceasefire was eventually agreed by Israel and Hama on May 20, with few reports of fighting since then.
LSESU Debate Society hosted Ms Hotovely and said that it aims to have diverse voices to encourage discourse about current issues.
“As such, both Israeli and Palestinian ambassadors have been invited to speak on issues which have attracted global attention.
“We invite ambassadors to the United Nations not in their individual capacity but as policymakers who are empowered to express and challenge the opinions of their governments.
“We consult relevant stakeholders before, during and after our event to determine any concerns they might have. We then integrate their feedback into safety and equity policy.
To echo our purpose of promoting discourse we acknowledge and affirm people’s right to protest at events, but denounce all threats of violence.
“Our events so far have gone as planned. We encourage the public, to check out our public pages for future opportunities to take part in our events.”

LSESU Debate Society was criticized on Instagram after it announced that it will host Israel’s Ambassador in London.
It did this despite having planned to have the UK’s Ambassador for Palestine speak at the same event today before he pulled out.
LSE said: ‘On Tuesday 9 November, the LSESU Debate Society hosted the Israeli Ambassador to the UK for an event on the LSE campus.
‘The event attracted protestors outside. It lasted for approximately 90 minutes. Ambassador talked, answered questions, and then left according to schedule.
LSE believes that freedom of speech is the foundation for everything they do. Staff, students and visitors all have the right to engage in discussion about the most important issues facing the world. But, it must also be respectful. It is completely against the law to intimidate or threaten violence.
“We have received threats of violence via social media regarding this event. Any LSE student identified for making these threats will be disciplined.
“We will be looking at the events to help us plan for the future.”
