Taking the top spot in the action photography category was Chiara Hofmayer, from Germany, for a shot of her Border Collie Nio bounding over obstacles as he completed an agility course.
Bagging the prize for best landscape shot was German photographer Janine Ulbrich, who submitted a photo of herself walking by a foggy lake with her rescue dog Skadi.
The competition also featured other winning images, including a golden retriever posing in brown leather chairs with his portrait behind and an excited dog swimming through the lake at sunset.
It is an annual competition, and there are other contests for dogs photographers that take place monthly.
Chiara Hofmayer from Germany won the top spot for action photography with a photo of Nio, her Border Collie, leaping over obstacles during an agility course.
