This evening, King Felipe VI (Swedish monarch) and Queen Letizia (Spanish queen) were treated to an extravagant state banquet at Stockholm’s Royal Palace as part of their visit.
Mother-of-two Letizia, 49, commanded attention in a navy ruffled ballgown and glittering tiara, while heir to the Swedish throne Crown Princess Victoria, 44, who arrived alongside her husband Prince Daniel, opted for a floral embellished gown and gem encrusted tiara for the occasion.
She was joined by Princess Sofia, 36, Prince Carl Philip, 42, as well as King Carl Gustaf, 75, and Queen Silvia, 77, as they hosted the Spanish royal couple.

Letizia, mother-of-two and 49-year-old wife of the late Robert (pictured above with him), commanded attention wearing a navy ruffled ballgown with a glittering tiara.
Letizia, whose brown hair was combed back and styled with a stylish bun, looked stunning in diamonds, including a striking tiara, matching earrings, and matching bracelets.
Princess Sofia, who has three children, Prince Carl Philip, showed off her style prowess with a slimming white gown paired with a glittering clutch. He looked elegant in the formal wear.
In another part of the world, Queen Silvia, a bronze beauty, wore a metallic gown with pearl overlay and her husband, looked equally charmant in his full-length finery.
Earlier in the day, Letizia and her husband attended an official welcome ceremony for their state visit at the Royal Palace in Stockholm, alongside the Swedish royals.

While hosting the Spanish royal couple in Spain, Princess Victoria was joined at 36 by Prince Carl Philip, 42 and Princess Sofia, 37.
Letizia was photographed at the event along with the other royals. She wore her blonde hair up in a sleek bun, as well as matching bracelets and a stunning tiara.
She proved her fashion prowess once again as she turned heads in an eye-catching bold red dress complete with matching statement headpiece.
She was wrapped in a warm cape-style coat with fur trim and neckline. A pair of matching stiletto heels, a mini bag, and matching gloves completed the ensemble.
Queen Silvia of Sweden (77) opted for a bright purple coat and cap – and added a pair of black mauve block heels and a butterfly brooch to complete her sophisticated look.

On Tuesday, the royal couple visited the Embassy of Spain to meet with Spanish citizens.
Spanish royalty are visiting Sweden for a state visit of two days. This trip is less than one week after the Spanish royals hosted a state banquet to celebrate the visit of Sergio Mattarella, the Italian president.
On Tuesday, the couple were seen travelling from the Adolfo Suárez Madrid Barajas Airport, the Spanish royals were accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of Science and Innovation, as well as the Secretary of State for Commerce.

Later, they arrived at Residence of Spain Embassy in Sweden. Felipe addressed Spanish residents and said: “All of you,” as Felipe stated that “all of you” represent much of what is best about our country.
He said, “We are sure that you have demonstrated not only your capacity to work and dedication, but also your tenacity, ingenuity and excellent training.
In Sweden, there has been a steady growth in Spanish immigration over the past decade. This includes 37.12 percent in just five years.
