The second day of Queen Maxima’s state visit to Norway was a spectacle.
The Dutch Royal, aged 50, and King Willem Alexander, her 54-year-old husband, moved around Oslo’s many engagements today.
For a lunch at Fort Akershus, the monarch chose a midnight orange and orange cape that she wore with a glittery stripe dress in the same colors.

Maxima was a model of elegance wearing the coat that mirrored the colors of the sky. The midnight blue color faded into warm orange about halfway through the fabric.
The monarch’s gown peeked out of the cape without sleeves, showing sparkly gold and blue stripes.
Maxima was slimmer than ever in this midi-dress with boat neckline and cinched waist.
This was worn by a mother-of-3 with orange gloves and orange suede shoes. A small fascinator, in blue or gold, was also matched to the dress.
Underneath the cape, the Dutch monarch was wearing a sparkly dress with blue, orange and gold stripes as she signed the visitors book during a government lunch at Fort Akershus in Oslo
Her essentials were also kept in a small, orange-colored clutch bag.
Maxima, who is known for being a lover of accessories, chose an amber bracelet and gold earrings.
Maxima, who was busy with engagements all day, looked stunning, with just a touch of bronzer to highlight her glowing skin.
Maxima paired Maxima’s cape and gown with orange swede heels and an orange leather clutch bag. Maxima also paired it with burn orange gloves and an orange-swede clutch bag.
This mother-of-3 looked glamorous, her mascara adding length to her natural eyelashes, and warm hazelnut eyeshadow enhancing the shine. She also wore a nude lip color.
They met the Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Store, who was at his residence as the Commander of the Armed Forces to kickstart the day.
They then attended a seminar about human rights, fighting hate speech and freedom of expression at the Deichman Library.
They later had a state lunch hosted by Jonas Store and his wife with King Harald of Norway, Queen Sonja of Norway and Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway and his wife at Slot Akershus.

Yesterday evening, the Royals were stunning as they entered the Royal Palace Gala Dinner. Queen Maxima walked in arm-in-arm alongside the Norwegian King Harold (84).
Maxima looked elegant in an elegant floor-length glittering gown. It transitioned seamlessly from dark navy to pearl blue.
The pair were also joined at the event by King Willem-Alexander, as well as members of the Norwegian royal family including Queen Sonja, Crown Princess Mette-Marit and Princess Martha Louise of Norway.
