Rachel Riley broke her silence about Anne Robinson and their Countdown feud in Friday’s episode Lorraine, during which she talked to Lorraine about being a mother.

Speaking on the daytime TV show Rachel said: ‘Anne’s not the cuddliest person in the world, but it’s just a different show now, she’s making it her own.
“She gets some stuff from contestants. Sometimes it’s humorous, sometimes it is barbed.
Last month Anne reportedly turned off Rachel’s microphone on set after becoming irritated by the host’s small talk.

According to The Sun, Anne became fed up of listening to Rachel chatting to contestants ahead of going on air, turning up at the last minute and being on her phone too much.
Crew reported that Rachel said to crew she was ‘completely against’ being silenced following the incident.
The publication received this statement from a source: “It is safe to say that they are not in love.” Anne is well-known for her dislike of noise, and time-keeping. She will tolerate none.

“Anne has also suffered from tinnitus, and can’t bear excessive sound. Rachel is loud with her huge heels and big personality. Anne used to listen to Rachel chat with contestants prior to every show.
“She didn’t feel capable of doing her job well, and she felt that it was impossible to bond with contestants in order to make them relax before the cameras began rolling.
“The tension was palpable.” Anne finds it all hilarious.

Fans are expressing dismay at the reported feud behind-the scenes between three of the leading ladies from Countdown.
Rachel spoke to Lorraine about her recent experience as a mother, which was just two weeks before.

Lorraine asked, “So Pasha’s living in a home of women?”
Rachel responded: “We have Noa and Maven, our two-year-old girl – her mum is in Siberia right now, so she’s really helping us.”
Rachel described what it was like for Maven to meet her newborn baby sister.
“When she was introduced to us” [Maven]To her [Noa]We asked her to check her stomach as she was talking about having a baby. She was then like “It’s out right now.” It’s great to have that information, it was painless for her.
“She is absolutely beautiful with her. She just wants her to touch her. It’s a great experience.
Lorraine asked Lorraine: “Who could have imagined that when you were on Strictly, you would win the most prize money in the world?” Rachel replied, “I did not get a gold star but I was able to have a husband and two beautiful daughters.”
After a four hour labor, Pasha gave her her breakfast.
