Young Dolph, an up-and-coming rapper, was gunned down at a Memphis cookie shop.
Memphis law enforcement officials confirmed the shooting death of Young Dolph as he purchased cookies from Makeda’s Butter Cookies on Wednesday.
Store owner Maurice Hill told FOX 13 News that the 36-year-old rapper walked into the store to purchase cookies and a vehicle pulled up and fired through the window, striking him.

Photographs of the crime scene reveal a substantial police presence as well as Young Dolph’s camouflage sportscar that he displayed on social media, parked in front of the cookie shop.
The 36-yearold was born in Chicago and grew up in Memphis as a toddler.

Fans lined up outside the store recording videos of the taped-off crime scene sharing their disbelief that the local rapper gunned down.
The rapper was not targeted, his real name being Adolph Robert Therton Jr.
According to TMZ, Young Dolph was shot in his buttocks as well as his arms in 2017, when he tried to run from a Hollywood shoe shop.
The rapper was previously shot in the SUV of his car more than 100 times by police officers in Charlotte, North Carolina.
One week earlier, he had been recorded in front of the cookie shop to promote chocolate chip cookies. This video was posted on social media.
He said, in the article: “All that I came for was to buy some Makeda’s.”
The 36-year-old was born in Chicago but grew up in Memphis since he was a toddler.

Prentice Penny the producer called the loss “tragic.”
