His brother, a reality TV star who was shot to death by a hit man, insisted that he wasn’t involved in drug trafficking. Today his wife said that he had made him take photos of the restaurant where a meal would be taken before he died.

Flamur ‘Alex’ Beqiri, 36, whose sister, Misse Beqiri, 35, appeared in reality television show The Real Housewives Of Cheshire, was killed in front of his wife Debora Krasniqi and two-year-old son at his £1m family home in Battersea, southwest London on Christmas Eve 2019.

You can hear Ms Krasniqi screaming, cradling and holding her son in dramatic CCTV footage. This was just moments after the victims arrived. Southwark Crown Court was informed today that Ms Krasniqi did not realize what was happening until “after he [Mr Beqiri] dropped on the flooring”.

Southwark Crown Court hears that Mr Beqiri, a three-month-old baby with three grandparents, was targeted by eight shots and then shot 10 times.

Anis Hemissi (24) is alleged to have dressed in disguises such as latex masks or a litter-picker’s uniform to conduct reconnaissance days prior to the murder.

Because of his connections to organized crime in Sweden and the drug trade in Sweden, Mr Beqiri is believed to have been targeted by an attack to inflict maximum terror and shock.

His widow, Ms Krasniqi, argued that he was an honest businessman who abided by the law.

Abbas Lakha, his lawyer, asked Ms Krasniqi: “The prosecution in that case suggests your husband was involved with drug trafficking.” Was that something you knew?

“I did not know that,” said Ms Krasniqi. She stated she knew her husband from the Netherlands and had been working in the music business.

According to Mr Lakha, ‘It was the prosecution suggestion. He was part in an organised crime organization in Sweden that involved large-scale drug importation. Does that sound true?

Ms Krasniqi who has been living in the capital most of her lifetime, stated: “No.

Mr Lakha asked the widow about the ‘very particular’ way her husband acted on the night of his killing.

The man said that on the particular evening, he went into the restaurant and had sat at one of the tables. After taking a picture, he then sent it to himself. Is there any reason for this?

Her testimony was to jurors that he wasn’t like this type of person. He was very picky.

According to Ms Krasniqi, her husband had no enemies.

The court heard the couple had borrowed £750,000 for their three-floor home, with a £950,000 down payment, and also rented a property in Dubai.

According to Ms Krasniqi’s wife, he had been “very stressed” in the months before he was killed. This is because he had put his life savings through a broker and turned out be a fraudster.

“Did that have anything to do with the death of your husband?” Mr Lakha stated.

Her reply was: “I don’t believe in anything.” She said, “I just explained to him why I thought he was stressed.”

Jurors were told that several family members, including his and his wife’s dads, had visited the victims’ young family during the attack.

Minutes following her husband’s shooting, Ms Krasniqi called Naeif Awi by phone.

According to reports, she was heard saying: “Maybe someone is coming for you also.” Be careful!

However, Ms Krasniqi claimed that she didn’t warn him off and said that she called him only for support following the shooting of her husband.

“I asked him to come but he refused, there’s a car out,” she replied.

The court heard how local resident Jeremy Lyons had confronted a litter picker said to be Hemissi two days before the incident.

Prosecutors say it was Hemissi who sought out the address of the victim using a latex mask.

“It appeared suspicious to me because he was pretending to pick paper in the private estate one minute and then the other minute, and I know that the two don’t meet,” Mr Lyons stated.

“The council does not clean the estate as well as the private cleaners on the roads.”

Lyons had been out walking his dog and was about to cross the road in order to confront the litter picker.

“I approached him, and asked what were you doing?”

According to Mr Lyons, he “just sort of grumbled some and walked away.”

Following the encounter Mr Lyons called police to report that a man pretending he was a street cleaner had been “hanging around the morning.”

The operator asked him who he worked for and he replied, “a company”, adding that it was “secret”.

Lyons was confronted by a second man who he saw “hovering about” and walking backwards on his cell phone the next day.

Lyons approached Lyons after seeing this man repeatedly described as being ‘possibly Eastern European, or Mediterranean’.

He said, “I inquired him what he was up to, can you be of any assistance?”

“I believe that he just said something and then left.”

Mark Heywood, the prosecutor for Mr Beqiri, stated to jurors that Mr Beqiri was coming home from dinner after he and his wife had picked up his son from his nanny.

At the Battersea residence of Mr Beqiri, southwest London. This was where the shooting took places on Christmas Eve 2019,

They were holding hands with the boy who had just been given a present from his nanny.

“As they approached the house, Mr Beqiri was just ahead of his wife and the boy.

“But, the murderer was not fazed by the fact that Flamur Beqiri and her child were present. Flamur Begiri rushed to the attacker as he entered through the gate at the front of the house.

“The black man pulled out a gun and shot what was probably almost all of the contents of the loaded magazine at Mr Beqiri’s rear, head, and torso.

“The semi-automatic fired on every pull of the trigger, and was continued to fire multiple times until Mr Beqiri fell.

The intention of the attack was obvious. It was first to kill Flamur Berqiri.

It was intended to inflict maximum terror and shock. That much is obvious from the times, dates, place, and specific circumstances.
