Dorit Kemsley of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has spoken out to speak out about a home invasion at her Los Angeles house where she was held at gunpoint. Her children are not aware of the incident as they slept through it.
In an Instagram post, the reality star, 45, said that she had been through a frightening ordeal that no parent or child should ever have.
“My children are unaware of what happened. They slept through it. I am thankful that God kept me and my children from being physically harmed.”
DailyMail.com exclusively revealed that three men broke into Kemsley’s $6.4 million Encino Hills home just before 11pm PT on Thursday night while she and her children slept.
Kemsley had only just returned from a trip to London, where she attended her nephew’s wedding on Tuesday night alongside her husband, PK Kemsley.
PK was still abroad at the time of the attack and is now headed back to California to be with his wife, who is said to have been ‘traumatized’ by the incident.

Kemsley announced Friday night, “We have 24-hour surveillance.” “Lots and lots of precaution. We will avoid any situation that could put us back in this position again. That’s for certain.

Kemsley posted on Instagram, “My kids are unaware of the incident, they slept through and I thank God for keeping me and my kids from being physically harmed.”

Kemsley stated that she was grateful for the support she received since the invasion and that she needed to begin the healing process with her family.
Kemsley stated that he has thrown himself straight back into work because he wants his family to return to normality as soon possible. I know this is the right thing to take while I work through the trauma, thanks to the support of my husband, my amazing family, friends, supporters, and fans.
She said she was grateful to the LAPD and their attention.
Kemsley stated to TMZ Friday night that she now has 24-hour security to bolster her protection.
“Lots and lots of precaution. We will avoid any situation that could lead to us being in this same situation again. That’s for certain.
She added that the one thing going through her head during the invasion was that she needed to keep her children safe, as she was forced to beg for her life and told the three invaders who held her at gunpoint ‘don’t hurt my babies. Don’t shoot me. I’m a mom.’

He said that while the babies are wonderful, they are totally unaware of their surroundings and that life is going back to normal, hopefully very quickly.

Her husband, PK (back), was in London during this invasion. He is currently returning to California to be with Kemsley.
She stated to the outlet, “I need them safe when they sleep,”
Although the mother-of-2 insists she is fine, she stated that she was still grieving for her children.
According to their mother Jagger (7 years old) and Phoenix (5 years old), slept through the whole ordeal.
When asked if she planned on moving, Kemsley said she and husband Paul Kemsley – AKA PK -, who was in London at the time of the late-night attack, were going ‘to take it one step at a time.’
“We still need to figure everything out. It’s still very, very young,’ she said.
PK seemed determined to save his wife and children by leaving their Encino Hills home.
“I would think that we might,” [move]’Yes,’ he replied, but admitted that he doesn’t know where to go yet.
His reality TV star wife said that she was likely targeted by the criminals for her social media posts. Kemsley shares her extravagant lifestyle and outfits on Instagram with her 1.3 Million followers.
During the invation, the intruders entered the home around 10.50pm by smashing through the children’s classroom door.
While Kemsley was asleep, two of the suspects entered her bedroom. They were standing at the bedside of her bed when she woke up.
They grabbed her as as she begged: ‘Don’t hurt my babies. Don’t kill me. I’m a mom.
One of the men replied: ‘Kill her.

LAPD detectives went to Dorit’s house Friday to investigate the scene

On Friday, LAPD detectives were photographed in front of Dorit Kemsley’s house.
The intruders ransacked the house for approximately 20 minutes, stealing all Kemsley’s jewelry & handbags.
They did not enter the bedrooms of her children and none were hurt.
Kemsley reached out to police and her husband who was in London at that time after the intruders left.
Los Angeles police said the identity of the suspects and value of stolen property remains unknown. The Robbery and Homicide Division is currently investigating.

PK, 54, said that the invasion was a real shock’ in an exclusive interview at LAX. He arrived back in the US Friday morning after a trip in his native Britain for a marriage. He was seen carrying a large Givenchy shopping bag as he rolled his luggage through the airport.
Kemsley stated that she was in shock. I am going to see them now. I was so worried that I hadn’t seen her yet.
He said that he was yet to hear the full details about the Wednesday night armed burglary at his Encino, California home, but expressed his relief that his children and wife are safe.
Kemsley said, ‘I don’t know a lot right now. I know that my babies are okay, and Dorit is at home. I’m rushing now to get her.
In an Instagram post, he captioned a sweet photo with Dorit and their youngsters on a tropical vacation: ‘We are all together and will get through this.’
