An appeals court ruled that Grace Hightower (Robert De Niro) will not receive half of the actor’s purported wealth.
Grace’s monthly average spend on credit cards was $215,000 and cash was $160,000, according to previous reports. Caroline Krauss, Robert’s lawyer, claims that the financial strain has caused the actor to run out of money.
The socialite, 66, argued that The Godfather star’s reported net worth of $500 million dollars should be split evenly as they are ‘marital assets’ according to a prenuptial agreement made in 2004.

However, the Appellate Section rejected her proposals and upheld a February 2021 ruling by a lower court.
The court ruled that the husband’s income and business assets earned during the marriage were his separate property.

Naturally, the Hightower camp didn’t take all this lying down. Kevin McDonough, her lawyer, countered that he owed his client payments to’maintain a status quo’ lifestyle that she enjoyed with De Niro during the marriage.
He was previously married to Diahne Abbott, an actress. However, the couple divorced in 1988.
