Former wife of celebrity business tycoon claims he could make his son, 14, have sex only with prostitutes if he returns to London.

Heather Bird, 51 said Robert Tchenguiz, her ex-husband, wanted to make Robert a man by letting him sleep with a sexworker.

They were divorced in 2019 and have been fighting in US courts about whether Ms Bird should return their children to the UK.

The former spouses lived on different floors of a £20million London house next door to the Royal Albert Hall when they separated in 2009. Julia Dybowska (30, a Polish model, was also living there at that time.

According to Ms Bird, their son was anxious about sharing a home with his father and felt fearful in a filing filed at Missoula district division court.

Tchenguiz began legal proceedings under the Hague Convention in October. This convention stipulates that children below 16 years old should only be heard in countries where their ‘habitual residence’ is.

The couple has a 16-year-old daughter, which she did not do in America.

Tchenguiz claimed that his family has lived in Knightsbridge in central London since their 2005 marriage.

In a court document Mr Tchenguiz’s lawyer Christopher Gillette said the father provided ’emotional’  and ‘financial’ support to the teenager throughout his life.

Judge Donald Molloy adjourned hearing to next month, and directed the teenager for a “mental evaluation”.

The former spouses’ story was told in the 2018 BBC documentary Robbie’s War: The Rise and Fall of the Playboy Billionaire, which claimed Mr Tchenguiz enjoyed a lavish life while his wife and children struggled.

He said that it was not true and maintained that they had a good relationship.
