UKRAINE LATEST: Ukraine peace negotiator Denis Kireev is shot dead amid claims he is Russian spy, Boris Johnson issues six-point plan on how West can defeat Vladimir Putin as video shows Russian helicopter shot down

Boris Johnson’s six-point strategy to defeat Vladimir Putin has been laid out by him as he prepares to lead global efforts against the terrible effects of war in Ukraine.

The Russian President faced an unprecedented wave of international fury yesterday for offering safe passage to Ukrainian refugees – only to bombard them with artillery as they fled.

A temporary ceasefire agreement overseen by Red Cross had allowed some 200 000 civilians to flee the eastern Ukrainian port city of Mariupol at 7.30 am yesterday.

In the meantime, reports claim that a Ukrainian peace negotiator has been killed. This is despite claims that he was a Russian spy. Unconfirmed reports.
