After being criticised online, Salt Bae’s Nusr Et Steakhouse is London’s worst-ranked restaurant on TripAdvisor.
Turkish chef, Nusret Gökçe, rose to fame back in 2017 for his unusual meat seasoning technique where he lets salt run down his elbow, and he’s been spotted slicing meat for customers at his newly opened London restaurant, where specials include a Golden Giant Tomahawk steak for £1,450, Golden Giant Striplion for £1,350 and Golden Kafes for £500.
Unfortunately, many people have not been impressed by Knightsbridge’s glitzy restaurant. TripAdvisor has ranked it number 20,491 among 23,811 cities.
One individual commented, “Do not let the glitter and glamour fool you and you will waste your money.”

‘Terrible food. It was disgusting. Ended up going for a £5 kebab after a £300 bill… this place is the biggest joke in London.’
Another wrote, “Insult humanity.”
“Worst food and worst service. Paid over £1,800 for three of us.
“Poor quality and small portions. Rather spend £50 in the local restaurant, will be better! Don’t do it again. It’s a trap.

The restaurant is now ranked number 20,491 in capital, out of 238,11 on TripAdvisor.
The third was: “Avoid the plague.”
“I’m a travel agent and have visited many countries to conduct my business. I’ve tried many places, but this is the most terrible.
“The ones in L.A., Turkey, and Dubai are incredible and I could not recommend them highly enough. However I wouldn’t return to Nusr et in London.
“I dined at this restaurant with business colleagues and was embarrassed that we had chosen such an awful location to eat.” It’s all about the hype, no substance. Don’t miss it!





Knightsbridge has received a number of negative reviews from diners who were not impressed by the restaurant’s glamour.
A fourth commented: ‘They need to rebrand an as ‘Aberdeen steakhouse’ where they charge tourists £15 for a steak.
‘You are better off going to Hawksmoor and saving £900 for the same meal but better.
‘Or go to Hippodrome steakhouse where you will not only save £900 to £1,200 but you also get some casino chips.’

In October the restaurant was accused of ‘deleting negative reviews’, after a customer’s eye-watering bill went viral.
A month earlier, a customer’s receipt from went viral after totalling a staggering £1,812.40 earning the restaurant an onslaught of backlash, however Google reviews currently show a 4.8 star rating – with the site stating it was ‘updated by the business a week ago.

The 38-year-old, who has been nicknamed Salt Bae by fans, currently has 17 restaurants in his successful chain and has a legion of celebrity devotees including DJ Khaled, Leonardo DiCaprio and David Beckham.
