Serena Williams’ dad, Venus Williams, is “incapable” after two strokes. Former hard-driving tennis coach is being taken care of by a mysterious son.
Richard Williams, aged 79, cannot speak. He gave power to Chavoita, one of his daughters, and not to Chavoita, who was a child he had with another woman, court records show.
Court records stated that Williams is ‘incapable’. They also showed that he was under the care of his son, who acts in the role of interpreter.
LeSane (48), lives in Atlanta. His criminal history dates back to 1998. He was involved in criminal and civil proceedings, as well as domestic relations, 61 times. There are five remaining cases.
Williams was reported to have suffered from a stroke in 2016. Court papers from 2018 prove that Williams actually had 2 strokes.

LeSane is a criminal with a lengthy history dating back to 1998. Most of his charges were dropped or abandoned.
Williams suffers also from a neurological disorder that affects the mouth. LeSane must interpret Williams’ words.
LeSane is CEO of Florida-based music promotion company ChaVam and helped negotiate the deal for his father’s 2014 memoir ‘Black and White: The Way I See It’ with publishing house Simon & Schuster.
Williams stated in the acknowledgment section that he was the one who “brought us together” and kept the project going when other people would give up. He deserves great credit.’
A post last month shows LeSane posing next to his father while a crew of cameramen was filming King Richard. The movie is about Williams’s difficult coaching which allowed Serena to be a great tennis player.
LeSane has not yet made clear his relationship to his famous half-sisters. Together, they have won 30 grand singles titles. They have combined to win 30 Grand Slam singles titles and 14 Grand Slams with doubles partners. The Williams sisters also won three Olympic gold medals.
LeSane’s life has been filled with news from a totally different kind of court.
In 1998, he was charged first with battery on a pregnant lady. But, records from Florida state show that the case was dropped. He was then charged with battery, and plead not guilty, according to records.
In 2007, he was identified as a habitual offenders’ for traffic offenses. He was sentenced to four-year probation for driving on a suspended license.
Through the years, he was charged with disturbing the peace and brawling, several traffic felonies, resisting arrest and domestic violence, but was never convicted as several of the cases were either ‘dropped or abandoned.’
Williams was the father of Serena and Venus (pictured), who he mentored to be two of the greatest tennis players in the world.
Richard III, Williams’ second son, and Ronner his third, have also been convicted of criminal offenses. These include assault and gun charges, which led to lengthy prison sentences.
Williams, who was 41 and Serena at 40 respectively, had previously been married to Betty Johnson. He had Sabrina, Richard III, Ronner, Reluss, and Reneeka with Johnson before they divorced in 1973.
He then met Oracene Price, who had Yetunde, Isha, and Lyndrea from a previous marriage. The couple were married in 1980. They had Venus, Serena and Isha. The couple divorced in 2002 citing irreconcilable differences.
Yetunde tragically died in 2003, when she was killed by a gunshot.
Williams also had a son with Lakeisha Graham in 2012: Dylan Starr Richard Williams. In 2010, the couple got married and were divorced in 2017.
LeSane took over the estate of his father while Williams was undergoing a turbulent divorce battle with Lakeisha.
