Daniel Storer, Uppingham’s Leicester, sexually assaulted 18-year old victim. He lured her home pretending to play Premier League footballer. Storer was also guilty of stalking and threatening violence.
An ex-sex stalker and fantasist who sexually assaulted women after presuming to be Premier League footballer in Leicester City was jailed.
Daniel Storer (22) began the 10-month-long campaign of terror in which he created fake accounts on social networking to get contact with his 18-year old victim.
Strangely, he assumed the identity of a footballer and paramedics, as well as lawyers and paramedics.
The court was told that he sent messages to the teenage victim after making fake stories to encourage her to send him sexual images.
Storer was obsessed with her and sent her more messages to try to get her into his house, where he raped her.
For legal reasons, the victim cannot be identified but she made an audio recording and called police last December.
Storer was found to be linked with the fake accounts by detectives.
The police discovered that he was a con artist of other lies about animals being purchased for the victim to make her money so she could take care of the animals.
Also, he lied about playing for Leicester City and being raped shortly afterward by a man who later died. He claimed that he also was the kidnapper.
Storer of Uppingham in Leicester pleaded guilty at Leicester Crown Court to stalking with fear violence and sexual assault.
He was sentenced to four years in prison with an extension of his license period for three years.
Storer was also subject to an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order. He received a restraining Order that prohibits him from ever contacting victims.
Leicestershire Police Detective Constable Ken Huddart stated that Storer had planned the false messages and accounts over a considerable time period and caused great distress for the victim.
“Storer didn’t have any concern about the effects of his actions on the woman.
“I want to recognize the bravery of this victim throughout this case.

Storer received an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order from Leicester Crown Court. He was also given a restraining Order that prohibits him from speaking to the victim.
“Her instinct to document the attack was during an absolutely terrifying ordeal, and her collaboration with us over time were vital to our success in obtaining this conviction.
“Through sheer determination and perseverance, Leicestershire Police Officers and Staff then proved this case in court. This has allowed them to take a dangerous suspect off the streets, helping to protect potential victims from such horrendous crimes.”
