It is shocking to see a male car owner refusing help from female workers at a dealership due to her gender.
Staff at a Chevrolet-Cadillac service center were left ‘appalled and offended’ by the sexist customer when she demanded to ‘speak to a male’ about getting an oil change.
The footage was recorded at the company’s South Main St dealership in Jonesboro, Arkansas on December 15.

The sexist woman who demanded that a Chevrolet-Cadillac customer speak to a man about an oil change was causing staff at the Chevrolet-Cadillac center to be ‘appalled’ and ‘offended’. Pictured: Autumn, a service worker talking to the customer
Service worker Rachel Nickell captured the moment her female colleague Autumn picked up the phone for the customer to arrange an oil change for her car.
However, when the woman hears her speak, she quickly replies: ‘I didn’t ask for a female, I would like to talk to a male.’
“My opinion is that women do not belong in the service section, they belong behind-the scenes doing the paperwork.”
Autumn replies calmly to the woman by saying that there isn’t any male in our services department.
She then asked to be transferred to male workers, but she soon called back, as she wanted to talk to the sales department, which is closest to her.
The woman becomes more annoyed and says she has to make an appointment Saturday morning for her oil change.

This footage was taken at South Main St, Jonesboro Arkansas. It was shot on December 15, 2015.
In the background, you can hear a woman saying “There will be”, which is most likely another writer for service.
She then called the female-only staff ‘totally mess up’ and complained about her previous experience, where a “five-minute job became a freaking hour”. Before, she stated that she needed to locate a male person to examine her car.
Autumn transfers the customer’s anger to the sales manager of the company. The customer requested that the request be cancelled by this person.
Rachel spoke out about her encounter and said that she was shocked by the customer’s antics.
“The female service director, who has 26-years experience, heads two service departments at two dealerships, was also informed and shown the video. She contacted the dealer owner and showed him the footage,” she said.
“They decided that customer must be fired.”
