Sheridan Smith considers herself lucky to still be alive, after her Range Rover lost control during Storm Arwen. She crashed into a tree while driving at high speeds.
The 40-year-old actress was driving the £100,000 Range Rover round a tight bend just yards from her home in Essex when she swerved off the road during icy conditions on Saturday.
Sheridan and her boyfriend Alex Lawler were said to be in the car at the time of the horror crash which left the mother-of-one with cuts and bruises, reported The Sun.
Sheridan Smith says she is “lucky to live” after her Range Rover lost control during Storm Arwen, and she crashed into a tree.
It caused extensive damage to higher branches, suggesting that it may have crashed while in air.
The publication was told by a neighbor that Sheridan is very lucky to still be alive. The situation could have been much worse. The car got stuck in the trunk, and it was quite a serious crash.

Essex police confirm that Sheridan’s boyfriend had called them after the collision and confirmed that she had talked to her. They also stated that Sheridan was not involved in any other accidents and that they were unaware of any criminal activity.
Officers found large fragments of the £100,000 Range Rover including a rear bumper and lights on the floor at the scene.
The accident near Little Sampford in Saffron Walden was just 90 minutes prior to an episode of The Jonathon Ross Show, where Sheridan was a guest, aired on ITV.

Although it’s not clear what Sheridan was upset about, Sheridan was the only guest female on the episode. A show spokesperson stated that she said to Jonathan that it wasn’t him.
A source told The Sun: ‘Sheridan was absolutely furious when filming on Jonathan Ross had ended.
She claimed that there was a chauvinistic atmosphere and there was misogyny. She said that she did not feel she was treated with kindness.
Sheridan shouted at her team members and threatened to sack them. Sheridan clearly was furious with her team on the backstage of filming.
Jonathan Ross spokesperson told The publication that Sheridan appeared to be having a lot of fun on the program, but was upset at the end.
Jonathan inquired if she was okay. She responded, “Don’t worry, this is not you.” Jonathan assumed the matter was between Sheridan’s and the people with whom she had been traveling.
