A speeding red SUV crashes into a crowd of pedestrians during Waukesha’s annual holiday parade, which is approximately 20 miles west from downtown Milwaukee.

At 4 pm on Sunday, Christmas Parade participants began starting at Main St. & Whiterock Ave. This was originally intended to be a shorter parade that ended half a block away from Cutler Park. It speeds down Main Street in a red SUV at 4.39 pm. It crashed into crowds and sent people flying. The car continued on towards the end, breaking through barriers, until it was found less than five blocks away. Although the SUV was located within five blocks of where it was, its driver was taken into custody. It’s not known exactly from which location.
After it became clear that he had been granted $1,000 bail, the decision to release him was a scandalous one.
Brooks, who spent 8 months in jail for hitting another vehicle after a fight and shooting at it on the roads of Florida between July 2020 – February 2021, was freed after his bond at $10,000 was reduced to $500.
The father was arrested for following up on the mother of one child at a Milwaukee hotel. He then followed her down the street with his red Ford SUV – the same vehicle suspected to have been used in last Sunday’s tragedy – and allegedly ran her over in the parking lot of a gas station after she refused to get into his car.
DailyMail.com received copies of Monday’s arrest warrant. It shows that he followed her to the gas station, hit her with his closed fist and then ran her over.

Brooks, who was the driver of the SUV which crashed into the crowd on Sunday, appeared in court for the first time last Tuesday. That’s also the day that the tragedy claimed the sixth victim.
Brooks was then arrested and charged for bail jumping. This is because Brooks failed to fulfill the conditions of any of his other bail sets or probation requirements.
The culpable criminal was able to escape incarceration on November 11th by posting bail, this time with a $1,000 cash bond.
Brooks, who was only two days away from the Waukesha attack on November 19, was back out on the streets. On November 21 Brooks was back at the Ford.
