Ex-Met Police sergeant and founder of Soho’s celebrity nightclub Cirque le Soir, 48, will be tried in April 2019 for a bribery plot following a probe into unsuitable relationships between local officers and businesses.

In April 2013, a trial will be held for the founder of Soho’s celebrity nightclub, and an ex-police sergeant who is accused of plotting bribery.

Ryan Bishti (41) is an entrepreneur who created Cirque le Soir London, in 2009. Frank Partridge, 48 was an ex-sergeant at the Westminster police licensing units. He was arrested for conspiracy to commit corruption after a long-running investigation.  

Investigators from the Met’s Directorate of Professional Standards Anti-Corruption command had investigated alleged improper relationships between police officers, local leaders and business people.

After a lengthy investigation, Frank Partridge, 48, an ex–sergeant at the Westminster police licensing units, and Ryan Bishti (41), who founded London’s Cirque le Soir, were both charged with conspiring to commit bribery. In 2023, they will be tried.

Bishti’s mother Pamela is 66 and Terry Neil (55), the head of security company TSS are also accused. They were accused of conspiring in bribery.

Soraya Henderson (56), Neil’s exwife, Eamonn Mulholland (54) and Hassan Serdoud (55) and Anna Ginandes (44) also face conspiracy charges.

Except for Henderson, seven of the defendants, including Partridge, were present via videolink at Southwark Crown Court. They did not plead guilty to any charges.

Judge Deborah Taylor gave a date provisional for the 12-week-long trial on 17 April 2023.

Bishti also owns other clubs in capital. TSS provided door personnel to Soho clubs.

Cirque le Soir, which was launched in 2009, became a hotspot for celebrities, drawing stars such as Cara Delevingne (Cara Delevingne), Miley Cyrus and Rihanna.

Partridge from Wing, Buckinghamshire is facing four charges of conspiring to commit bribery. This occurred between the 1st of February 2013 and the 25th of June 2015.

The unconditional bail was granted to them ahead of the April 25 hearing at Southwark Crown Court.
