At around 2pm, the Prime Minister’s father (81), was seen wearing a disposable mask under his nose on Wednesday while on a Bakerloo Line flight.
According to Transport for London’s website, it is a condition of carriage for passengers to wear face coverings correctly over their mouth and nose or they could be thrown off and risk a fine – starting at £200 and rising up to £6,400.
Wednesday’s incident was the third time Mr Johnson Sr has broken mask-wearing regulations in the last 14 months. Johnson had previously been found with his nose covering at Athens Airport and in London.
Downing Street has previously said that coronavirus rules should be followed by everyone, including the relatives of senior Government figures.
These photos were taken as the news spread that Prime Minister Tony Blair was planning to take more restrictive measures this week, such as a stricter ban on face-masks, in accordance with ‘Plan B’ Covid.
Boris Johnson may have proposed sweeping changes in response to Omicron, such as mandatory homework rules and extended face protection to bars and restaurants.

It comes as SAGE warned ministers that Omicron hospital admissions could breach 1,000 a day in England by the end of the year without tougher restrictions to stem the spread of the super-mutant Covid variant.
Expert panel says it’s ‘highly probable’ Omicron will infect most of the British with a variety of infections. It could also encourage No10 to activate its winter Plan B.
Minutes from today’s SAGE emergency meeting revealed that members also expected the strain, which is highly evolved, to cause several thousand admissions each day in January at their peak if allowed to spread.

After the rise in British Omicron cases to 568, there is increasing pressure for the government to loosen restrictions. The highly developed variant of Omicron can now be found in almost all countries in England and in most of the UK.
Ministers have already introduced mandatory face masks in shops and on public transport in England and, on November 27, promised to review the measures after three weeks.
Plan B also includes the mandatory introduction of vaccine passports to be used for large events or nightclubs. This passport would be used to prove that people have been double-jabbed in order to allow them to attend an event.
The government has stated that it would give at least one week notice to businesses before mandatory vaccination certification is implemented.
For other purposes, face masks could also be used, like when you are moving about restaurants. The Government stated that the plan allowed for people to return to their homes if possible, but only for a short time.
