According to reports, Strictly Come Dancing will be returning to Blackpool Tower Ballroom to celebrate its milestone week. This is after Covid’s two-year-old plans were thwarted.
According to The Mirror, contestants can once again dance across the legendary ballroom floor after it was restored to its former glory.
After a three week refurbishment, the original wood dancefloor was reopened this weekend. It was constructed in 1894.

The ballroom, which dates back to 1894, underwent its most extensive restoration last year, when a £1.1 million refurbishment was carried out during lockdown.
However, Strictly’s celebs were forced to cancel their performances at Tower last year due to concerns over the coronavirus.
Experts were called in to remove more than 100 layers lacquer before the floor could be sanded and sealed again.
It has been finished with a smooth finish that allows visitors to the ballroom to glide along the flooring, which is made up 30602 pieces of walnut, mahogany and oak.

Although the Strictly series will not start until September, the BBC’s former stars are already preparing for the 2022 tour that begins Thursday.
On Thursday, Nadiya Bychkova cut a glamorous figure as she shared a clip of herself getting ready for the Strictly Come Dancing tour.
She is a professional dancer of 32 and she will join her stars for this year’s tour that begins in Birmingham.
While getting her hair and make-up done for a promo tour, the TV star looked stunning as she was joined by Dan Walker.
Preparations
Nadiya wore a bright red top and her platinum blonde locks were styled loosely while she chatted with her makeup artist.
Strictly fan who purchased tickets to this year’s tour, which will run until February 13, were promised some amazing things by the dancer.

It comes after Nadiya was revealed to have parted ways with her fiancé Matija Škarabot, the father of her five-year-old daughter.

Matija (33), no longer follows Nadiya via Instagram. However, Nadiya hasn’t posted anything about Matija for seven months.
According to friends, Dan (44), was a BBC Breakfast host who became a pillar of strength for his Strictly partner.
Sources close by the dancer reveal that Dan has confided to her after Matija’s divorce.
MailOnline was told by a source that Dan and Nadiya had a strong bond. He has provided support and strength for Matija after their breakup.

According to reports, Nadiya has received additional support from Kai Widdrington (26) a pro-dancer.
Pro dancer, AJ Odudu (33) was paired with her on Strictly, but they were forced to withdraw from the final because Odudu sustained a foot injury.
AJ and Kai reportedly dated each other while they were performing on Strictly, but the couple has yet to come out with any details about their love.
