Operation Teacup is a police investigation into a rape that took place near a Sussex department store.
The attack occurred on Sunday morning (October 24, 2008).
The victim’s age has not been revealed but he was allegedly attacked close to Robertson Terrace in Hastings, in an area of bushes off the A259, behind an old Debenhams store.
Operation Teacup has been launched by police after a man was allegedly attacked near some bushes (pictured), in Hastings (Sussex), in the early morning hours of Sunday (October 24).
According to police, the suspect is a white man in his 30s or 40s with blond hair.
According to Sussex Live., there was a large police presence in the area yesterday (October25).
As they continued to investigate, they were able to see four officers from Sussex Police as well as two police cars.

Witnesses who were present in the area at the time of the alleged attack are asked to come forward.
Although investigations are ongoing, the victim is being supported and assisted by specialists officers.
Police said that the public can expect to see more officers as the investigation continues.
