A recipe has been shared by an Australian foodie for giant, guilt-free peanut butter cups that only require four ingredients. 

Ayeh Manfre (Sydney home chef) demonstrated how to create the simple dessert in an online video that she posted on her TikTok profile. 

She layers peanut butter with strawberries and chocolate to make a healthy peanut butter cup.

Ayeh Manfre from Sydney has published her simple recipe for large peanut butter cups.

To create her healthy version of a peanut butter cup, she layers the popular spread with, strawberries and melted chocolate on a rice cake

“Have your tried the peanut butter cup trend?” She says it’s so delicious and then spreads peanut butter onto rice cakes. 

She explained that she was adding strawberry to the peanut butter jelly flavor.

Ayeh melts the dark chocolate, then pours it on top of the strawberries. Sprinkle a little sea salt over the top. 

The cakes are then placed in the freezer until the chocolate sets again.

Put the strawberries in an air fryer for three minutes. Then, add them to the rice cakes with choc and Pb. A third helping of strawberries was suggested. 

Ayeh became famous for her Korean-inspired fried chicken recipe. 

As an alternative to chicken, she created this popular street food with oyster mushrooms.

Ayeh started by mixing plain flour with turmeric, garlic powder and onion powder into a bowl.

The flour and spices were then mixed together. She took some of this mixture and put it in a bowl before adding water to it.

Ayeh said that she had used oyster mushrooms with a similar texture, and they look just like chicken.

For double coating, she used the same wet-to-dry batter method. Then, she fried the mushrooms in hot oil until they turned golden. 

Ayeh, once the “fried chicken” had turned golden Ayeh put them in a bowl. She then tossed them with Heinz’s new Korean Style Street Food Sauce. 

Within just 22 hours of posting her video, it received immediate attention from people who love food and attracted more than 42,000 viewers.

How to make Ayeh’s Korean fried chicken:

Ingredients:

  • Oyster mushrooms 
  • Plain flour
  • Paprika 
  • Turmeric
  • Garlic powder
  • Powdered onion  
  • Cayenne pepper
  • Water
  • Oil 
  • Heinz Korean Style Street Food Sauce 

Method: 

  • Mix plain flour with turmeric, garlic powders, onion powder, cayenne pepper, and paprika in a bowl.
  • Blend the flour, spices, and salt together.
  • Make a mixture of the flour, water, and salt. Dip the oyster mushrooms into both the wet and dry batter.
  • To double-cook the mushrooms, repeat the process of wet to dry batter. Then heat oil to fry until they are golden.
  • To enjoy, place the crispy-fried chicken pieces in a bowl.
