Among many other bizarre inventions, CES 2022 featured a breathalyzer to detect Covid-19, a robot massage table and an ultraportable electrical wheelchair.
It will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The massage table, by Massage Robotics, has two arms and responds to verbal commands in real time, but it has a whopping $310,000 (£228,000) price tag, and was just one of a number of relaxation devices on show at CES this year.
Covid-19 was present all through the event. This includes in the absences of major companies like Amazon and Google. But it also participated in the purposes of many products that were on display. One of these included a Breath Analyzer, which detects the virus.

MailOnline has compiled this collection of weird and wonderful inventions that were revealed by large and small businesses during the annual event.
Robotic massage table
The 2022 Consumer Electronics Show featured a lot of massage and comfort, with the debut of a fully-automated massage table.
Massage Robotics has unveiled the fully body massage robot. It was made to be used in a salon to assist people who cannot tolerate a human masseuse.

Startup built the robot using two arms. It covered seven feet to be able to comprehend verbal commands.
The neural network allows the device to instantly exchange data and to respond to user’s needs.
These robot arms work in six axes, and can be combined to provide a perfect massage experience for anyone on the table.
Based on your needs, it can adjust location, time, distance, speed, force, and even remove knots from your back.
A smartphone library will allow users to save favourite routines and to easily share them with others.
It does come with a hefty price tag, as it is aimed at the commercial, rather than home market, with a base model costing $310,000 (£228,000).
Covid-19 breathalyser
The OPTEEV Freedom from ViraWarn, a portable Covid-19 detection breath analyzer was introduced at the 2022 Consumer Electronic Show.
This device can be used to prevent disease and not confirm it. It also works with other viruses than Covid-19.
The OPTEEV Freedom from ViraWarn, a Covid-19-detection breath analyzer handheld, was presented at the 2022 Consumer Electronic Show.
The company has also created a portable device to function as a breathalyser and a room detection air analyzer, which performs the same function but passively.
Conrad Bessemer was chairman of Opteev and co-founder.
Opteev is a missionary who aims to improve personal health safety. He believes that we should be less tolerant of virus-promoting behaviours, but that it’s also important to bring back the classroom and office.
The firm claims that its device is discreet and instant, which can be used to exit a gym, Uber or other ride-sharing service.
A handheld device, which functions like a breathalyser is also available. The firm also offers a room detection air analyser that does the same function but passively.
Ultraportable wheelchair
On Wednesday, the WHILL Model F personal electric vehicle foldable was displayed at CES. It is designed to be extremely portable.
This device is made to work for all people, including seniors or those with difficulty walking.
On Wednesday, the WHILL Model F personal electric vehicle foldable was displayed at CES. It is designed to be extremely portable.
The new mobility vehicle was not designed to replace a traditional wheelchair. It is made for active daily use, and it’s intended for people with disabilities.
The technology is lightweight and easily foldable.
You can also use the smartphone app to control and lock your Model F from anywhere, check mileage and monitor battery life.
Lifelike humanoid robot
A humanoid robot Ameca, designed by Engineered Arts, received its public debut at CES after being shown off for months on YouTube.
This grey-faced humanoid bot was designed with facial movements and interactions closely resembling human behaviours.
After months of being displayed on YouTube, an Ameca humanoid robot was finally made public by Engineered Arts.
The video was uploaded by the Cornish company to YouTube late last year. Elon Musk responded to this tweet with a sarcastic, “Yikes!”
Although the device was not intended to be a product, it is being developed as a platform for research. However, the company envisions humanoid robotics that can be used in public services environments such as airport information terminals.
Engineered Arts director of operations Morgan Roe said, ‘We were extremely surprised.’ It was a huge success overnight. On one tweet, we had 24,000,000 views.
Ten seconds toothbrush
Conceptual design for a new toothbrush type that cleans teeth faster than a traditional brush.
The first unveiling of the device by this previously unidentified company was at CES 2017, and it is available for purchase in more than 50 countries.
The Y-Brush concept is a design for a new kind of electric toothbrush. It claims that it cleans teeth faster than a traditional brush and takes only 10 seconds to do so.
The prototype version of this brush is the latest and most improved. It features a toothbrush head that looks like a mouthguard, but is filled with nylon bristles.
An internal motor vibrates as the bristles brush your teeth.
According to some reports, the handle on the original brush was difficult to grip. The new model is rounder and more tapered to facilitate holding.
You only need to turn the brush as you did with the original.
Vehicle that can fly ultralight
SkyDrive SD-03, an ultra-light and compact flying vehicle, was presented at CES 2022, Las Vegas, Nevada.

Plan is to begin using the aircraft in the middle of next decade for moving people and goods within a rural area or an urban setting.
The firm designed this model, shown off at CES, as an ‘on-demand airtaxi booked using cell phone’, that, once booked would fly passengers to their destination.
It can carry a single passenger, and has an approximate cruise speed of 25-31 mph with a maximum flight time of 5-10 minutes.
The length is approximately 13.1 feet, the width is 13.1ft and the height 6ft 6 ins. It takes up around two parking spots.
When the product goes on sale, it is expected that speed and flight times will increase by 2026.
