The former Apprentice winner Dr Leah Totton revealed her new method, which she claims is an alternative safe and non-invasive to the controversial Brazilian Bum Lift.
Speaking ahead of the launch of series 16 tonight, Irish-born Leah, 33, who won Apprentice Lord Sugar’s £250K investment in 2013 and has since opened three clinics turning over millions, shared the cosmetic industry’s new answer to BBL.
“Hip Dip Fix” has become a popular solution to BBL, a controversial hip and surgical procedure that has been considered unsafe by the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons.
The promise of improving cellulite, skin quality and elasticity, and giving you the ‘perfect proportions,’ ‘Lanluma’ injects a collagen stimulator filler to the area. This gives you a more rounded look.
While BBL works by taking natural fat from the waist and other unwanted areas and injecting it into the hips and bottom at a cost of £10,000, the non-surgical treatment works without liposuction and costs £3,800 for four vials – lasting between two to three years.

The “Hip Dip Fix” has won traction thanks to Dr Leah Totton (33) who was an Apprentice winner. It is the solution to BBL (the previously controversial and unsafe surgical procedure for the bottom and hips) which The British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons has deemed unsafe.

Sophie, a 30-year-old London PA was unsatisfied with her bum. She wasn’t even going to the gym.
Keen to get a more curvy shape, seen on celebrities like Jennifer Lopez and Kim Kardashian, she decided to have two vials of the Lanluma treatment injected into her hip area – costing £1,900.
FEMAIL was told by her: “I wasn’t happy with the lack of pepiness in my bum and the overall shape. My confidence was greatly affected by this. While there’s a lot of attention in media about a perfect bum, I simply wanted to feel comfortable with my body.
‘I tried to exercise but it didn’t seem to make much difference so I decided to do some research into potential treatments. The Lanluma Bum Lift was something I had never considered. It seemed less risky and invasive than a BBL, and I didn’t want to do it.

“I saw the Lanluma bumlift on Instagram and decided to investigate further. This treatment was very safe, produced beautiful results and had subtle effects.
Sophie was treated in Dr Deepa’s Baker Street Clinic by Dr Sidra with two vials Lanluma. Dr Sidra was extremely pleased with her results.
She said: ‘The treatment itself was much easier than expected, it was nowhere near as painful as I thought. It was quite easy thanks to the help of amazing doctors. It was great for lunchtime. The whole process was very simple and easy.
Sophie was anxious that her body wouldn’t change from the one she had before. She chose to use a lesser amount of filler.
She said, “It was just the right amount to address my concerns. My confidence has been boosted and I feel amazing.”
“I’ve had comments from friends on how plump my bum is, so this treatment I highly recommend. It is important to massage it regularly.
Injectable therapy targets depressed areas in the hips and bum, and stimulates natural collagen.
Dr Leah spoke to FEMAIL and stated that a plump bottom, or correction of a flat bottom, are some of the most requested body treatments at Dr Leah Clinic. Bum enhancement has seen a significant increase in demand, with bum-lifts increasing in popularity 2520% since 2000.
Cosmetic procedures such as BBL surgery are becoming more popular due to the current trends in body shape. Everybody wants to look perfect in their hourglass figures.
“There have been many instances where BBL has not gone according to plan. This has led to it being referred as one of the most hazardous procedures in plastic surgery due the high number of deaths.
“Surgeons in Britain have been warned not to do BBL. We decided to provide a safer and more effective option, injectable bum enhancements, Lanluma injections.
It has been a very popular alternative to surgery. There is minimal downtime, natural-looking results that last for around 2 years.
