A teenager is being charged with the murder of an 18-year old girl who, while returning from school, was assaulted.

An 18-year old boy was attacked and killed by a teenager as he walked home from school.

Kajetan Mgdal (age 18), was found by police and paramedics with serious injuries in Cutty’s Lane Stevenage, Hertfordshire at 11.20 on Friday.

The injured schoolboy was then rushed to Lister Hospital just 2.4 miles away. There, emergency medical personnel failed to save him. He was declared dead at the hospital in the wee hours of Saturday morning.

Patrick Sharp (18) has been accused of the murder of Kajetan and the possession drug-related offenses in public places.

On Monday, he will be appearing before the St. Albans Magistrates Court. 

Hertfordshire Constabulary spokesmen said that a man was charged after the murder of another Stevenage man. Patrick Sharp (18 years old) was charged today with murder, possessing an offensive weapon, and possessing Class A drugs.

He has been placed in detention and is due to appear tomorrow before the St. Albans Magistrates’ Court (Mon).

After an accident in Cutty’s Lane on Friday, Kajetan Mgdal was left with life-threatening injuries.

“Despite his best efforts, he died in the hospital at dawn yesterday (Sat).

Justine Jenkins from the Bedfordshire-Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit said, ‘Our investigations have continued over weekend and, after a rapid arrest, we now have a charge.

“However, however, we still appeal for witnesses who have not yet spoken with police to come forward. We are always looking for information.

His family described him as a happy, cheerful young man who has a bright future.

His family wrote in a tribute to murdered Kajetan:  He was known for his love of dance, animals, hard work and caring friendships. He was a highly accomplished academic and hobbyist, so he was well positioned for great things. His life was full of hope and excitement.

Ms. Everett said, “As a family we are in total shock and devastated by this enormous loss. His entire life was ahead of him, and he had a wonderful summer planned.

“He left behind his parents, Gemma Janusz (my sister) and younger brother Fabian. We are all so sorry for their loss.
