An Australian mum has wowed many with her summer cocktail trick using Kmart’s $1.50 silicone ice cube trays and freshly chopped fruit.

You can make your own summer cocktail with the inexpensive ingredients in this cocktail. 

To begin put slices of half of a fresh strawberry and thin quarter slices of orange into a Giant Silicone Ice Cube Tray from Kmart.

Then add three fresh blueberries, passionfruit pulp and mint leaves to each slot on the ice tray. 

Add water or lemonade to the ice tray. Janine shared her cocktail recipe using Schweppes Blood Orange Tonic water.

Next, place the tray in the freezer. Let the cubes cool. 

She tops the ice cube tray up with either water, lemonade, or soda water of choice, and freezes the tray, once frozen she pops the cubes into a glass along with gin and more soda water

The ice cube tray is filled with water, lemonade or soda water. Once frozen, she puts the cubes in a glass with more soda water and gin. 

Add two of Janine’s Vodka or Gin to a tall glass. 

Enjoy the drink by topping it with alcohol and cubes. Janine finished her drink with Soda Water. 

Janine recommends that the fruit filled ice blocks be placed in a punchbow with lemonade, juice, and fruit to create non-alcoholic drinks.
