Rio Ferdinand has revealed he was in A&E on Sunday – as he watched Manchester United’s shock 5-0 defeat to Liverpool.
42-year-old ex-Man U ace tweeted a photo from his hospital bed while he was watching the match. The star didn’t reveal what medical issue he was being treated for.
He wrote: ‘This 60 mins have sent me to A&E… FFS.’

The TV pundit also shared the same snap to his Instagram stories, with the caption: ‘Sat in A&E watching this… FFS’.
Ronaldo and his team were thrashed by bitter rivals Liverpool 5-0 on Sunday. Mo Salah scored a hat trick at the Liverpool home of Liverpool’s most fiercest rivals. Naby Keita, Diogo Jota and others also scored in the first-half.
Ronaldo did score the goal after half-time but it was ruled offside. Paul Pogba was also sent out for a high-and dangerous tackle on Keita. Anthony Taylor received a red card following consultation with the VAR pitchside monitor.
Ronaldo took to Instagram after the match and said that sometimes the result isn’t the one we want. Sometimes the score isn’t what we want.
