Singletons love to be able to listen to the same music as their friends, regardless of whether it’s hard-core or 80s pop.
Tinder now makes it easy to identify potential match’s music preferences with its new feature Music Mode.
Music Mode will automatically play users’ chosen Anthems – the ‘one song that defines them inside and out’ – from their profiles.
Music Mode at Tinder is an area where songs can be deeply personal. Kyle Miller, Tinder’s Vice President of Product Innovation said, “Songs have a deep emotional component, and Music Mode lets you create new music.”

Music Mode is Tinder’s newest immersive experience. It was created with Spotify in collaboration.
Tinder announced the feature in a blog.
Music Mode will now be available to members who connect their Spotify profiles and add an Anthem on their Tinder profiles.
Tinder reports that 40% of Gen Z members, those born 1997 to 2012, have Anthems already on their profiles.
Music Mode goes one step further and automatically plays your Anthem right from your profile.
Miller stated, “Music Mode gives our members the opportunity to experience that moment when someone is listening to the same songs as you.”
“It is amazing how music can enhance the Tinder experience.
You can try Music Mode by opening the Tinder App and clicking on your pofile.

After a September survey by 1,001 Tinder users, Music Mode was developed.
According to the survey, 84% of respondents hoped for a partner who shared their musical tastes.
Their top priorities were music compatibility (64%), political views (61%), or a sense for humour (48%).
In the next weeks, Music Mode will begin rolling out globally to Tinder users in all countries where Spotify is accessible.
